Overview
- Firmex will no longer support the Java applets as an uploading and downloading method using Internet Explorer.
- In anticipation of this, we have made improvements so that you can use our recommended alternatives in all the situations where Java would have been useful.
- We encourage all users to use the HTML5 uploader supported by Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox, or to use our Document Exchange for Desktop application.
Why was Java removed?
To stay ahead of any potential security risks, Firmex will remove Java-based upload and download options in the Internet Explorer browser. Please see this article for more information.
When is this happening?
