Installing the FileOpen plug-in

Overview

In order to view the data room documents from your own computer, you are required to download and install the FileOpen plug-in. The plug-in interacts with Adobe Reader or Acrobat, and communicates with the Firmex document server to give you access to the documents.

Installation instructions

  1. Ensure that you have an updated version of Adobe Reader or Acrobat installed.
  2. Download the FileOpen plug-in for your operating system.
  3. Close Adobe Reader or Acrobat, and then install the FileOpen plug-in.
Note: You may need your IT administrator to install the plug-in for you.
  4. Once installation is complete, open the document again.

  3. From the categories on the left select the Internet tab
